COURSE DESCRIPTION:

Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET) is training on how to escape from a helicopter that crashes into water.

The course prepares participants for emergency exit in the event of a helicopter crash-landing over water. It is a critical training that arms you with the tactical knowledge and skills to reduce fatalities during a helicopter emergency that occurs in water. This training holds in a helicopter simulator that is submerged in water.

COURSE DURATION : 1 day

METHODOLOGY : Lectures and practicals in the swimming pool with PFD’s, Life- raft and dummy Helicopter.

CERTIFICATION : On successful completion of the course, each Participant will be issued with the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) Approved HUET Certificate and an Identity Card.
