According to the Nigeria centre for disease control (NCDC), food related illness affects tens of Millions of people and kills thousands each year.
This food Safety and Hygiene course is designed to provide food handlers in the catering sector with the essential practical training to enable them provide safe food to consumers.

Understand the importance of food hygiene and reorganize the food hazards.
- Microbiological,Physical,Chemical and Food allergies
||The basics of HACCP Food Safety Management system
||Demonstrate and maintain high standards of personal hygiene and hand hygiene
||Delivery Hazard Analysis and Controls
||Storage Hazard Analysis and Controls
||Preparation, Cooking, Cooling, Reheating, Holding and Service Controls.
||Use of cleaning Chemicals and equipment
||Pest & Waste Control
||Maintain work areas and follow good hygiene procedures.
An online assessment is taken on completion of the training. You will be asked multiple choice questions with a pass mark of 50%. The answers are marked automatically so you instantly know whether you have passed. If you don’t pass, do not worry! You can take the test as many times as you need with no extra charge.
On successful completion of the course, each participant will be issued with a personalized DPR/Shell Accredited Food Safety & Hygiene Certificate and delivered by post (DHL delivery service) the next working day.
